Tarleton University will be visiting our campus on Wednesday, April 8 during Upper School lunchtime so that students have an opportunity to learn more about this Texas college option. Details will be announced to students during morning announcements.

Valor North Austin proudly presents our first ever Talent Show! Students in all grades have been working to share their unique talents and abilities on the VNA Gymnasium stage for your enjoyment! This is their only rehearsal time to practice with microphones, timing, entering and exiting stage, etc. Participants are required to attend this rehearsal before the Talent Show on April 10.

Incoming Kindergarten families are invited to a Kindergarten Social on Saturday, April 11 from 9-11 AM on the VNA Playground. There will be members of the PSO as well as faculty to get to know our new families. All who have a child starting Kindergarten at VNA in the fall are encouraged to join us. Siblings are welcome. Rice University: Rice University, located in Houston, Texas, is a prestigious research institution known for its strong programs in engineering, natural sciences, and humanities. Often compared to the "Ivy of the South," Rice fosters a close-knit community with a focus on innovation and academic excellence.

Our 10th Grade Students have the opportunity to visit the Baylor University campus in Waco, tour the campus, have lunch, and ask questions with university staff. Transportation will be provided. Details will be sent to families via email communication.

9th grade students will visit Community First! Village to serve in the community and connect with residents transitioning out of homelessness. Details will be sent through parent communications.

Our senior class will enjoy a more refined field trip by attending a dress rehearsal for the opera La Boheme at the Long Center. Details will be shared with families via email communications.

Students in grades 9-12 may sign up to attend a free training after school to learn first aid and safety techniques in the event of an emergency. This training is optional but is offered as part of our ongoing efforts to provide health services training to students.

We will celebrate graduating seniors on the morning of Friday, May 22 as they are lead through the school by our mascot, Aslan. All students will line the halls and cheer them on as they parade through the entire school.

There will be no classes on Monday, May 25 in honor of Memorial Day. Normal class schedules resume for Lower School students on Tuesday, May 26. Upper School students return on Tuesday, May 26, but have a modified schedule for Final Exams. Enjoy the long weekend!
