Family Giving
Did you know Valor depends on the generosity of our families? There is a gap of over $2,000 per student per year between what Valor receives in public funding and what it costs to provide tuition-free classical education. Please consider how you can participate in bridging this gap. For more information, contact us at info.sanantonio@valoreducation.org or visit our Donate page.
From the Headmaster
Dear Current Families,
It is with great joy and humility that I serve as both teacher and headmaster of Valor Education’s campus in northwest San Antonio. As such, I invite you all to join our burgeoning classical school that affirms the dignity of each child and challenges each student to ascend to excellence through a rigorous education that prioritizes the cultivation of wonder and inquiry. I know of no greater joy as an education professional than to lead students and faculty as we watch our children thrive in a safe and joyful environment that is characterized by respect and deep engagement, and I, therefore, look forward to working alongside you as we continue to make Valor’s San Antonio campus a place of singular quality in its school culture. I can think of no greater calling than the work we have before us to lead our children in the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty!
It is the goal of this school’s leadership and faculty to make Valor San Antonio a school of national standing worthy of our students. To that end, I continue to work tirelessly to find and retain the very best teachers and school leaders who model intellectual humility and curiosity, teach our students to pursue wisdom for its own sake, and live in accordance with virtue. By their example, our students will grow into moral men and women of outstanding character and high academic acumen.
We offer a rich curriculum and many extracurricular programs that provide students with opportunities to expand their moral, intellectual, and athletic imaginations and capabilities. Upon graduating, they will have been immersed in beautiful art, poetry, and music; they will have performed in concerts and plays; they will have read and discussed some of the greatest works of literature; they will have had opportunities for healthy athletic competition; and they will have grown in authentic communities of friendship for a full human life.
Valor San Antonio boasts a highly engaged and enthusiastic community of parents and guardians invested in the vision and promise of this academy. It is easy to see why parents are so eager to support our school after visiting the campus and seeing it for yourself. Please sign up to attend a campus tour or open house to learn more about the vision and mission of Valor San Antonio. I look forward to meeting you all soon.
Cordially,
John Fowler
