Family Giving

Did you know Valor depends on the generosity of our families? There is a gap of over $2,000 per student per year between what Valor receives in public funding and what it costs to provide tuition-free classical education. Our Invest in the Vision campaign invites you to help bridge this gap. For more information, contact Courtney Poole or visit our Donate page.

“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure…”

“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure…”

So says Gandalf the Grey to Bilbo Baggins at the start of J.R.R. Tolkien’s legendary tale The Hobbit. I extend the same greeting and a warm welcome to all those whose wanderings have led them to this page!

I invite you and your family to explore our website and be in conversation with us as you discern if you would like to partner together to help form your student in virtue, Truth, and the great Tradition and inheritance that is Western Civilization.

I look forward to meeting you and your students, as well as dreaming and planning together how a classical education can help your sons and daughters to become before our eyes men and women who are fully alive and truly free! We desire this good for them for their own sakes but also so that one day your children can become citizens of good character and sound intellect capable of being the wise fathers, mothers, and servants of the common good that our country and civilization so dearly need.

At Valor Kyle we will walk through the Wardrobe into the land of Narnia, track the tale of the discovery of the electron, learn how to decline Latin nouns, marvel at the genius and insights of the Founding Fathers, heartily sing spirituals and folksongs, learn the true nature of the virtues from Aristotle and Aquinas, lie on our backs under the stars of a Utah sky in our high school outdoor treks, and push ourselves to do one more pull-up than we ever thought possible – all in the context of a unique and transformative community of friendship.

This undertaking will not always be easy, but things of the highest worth never are. Together we can help one another pursue the highest goods.

And so I repeat: “I am looking for someone to share in an adventure…”

In partnership,

David Schuler
